The CityVentures team offers business advice and feedback to help you start and develop your idea.

Whether you have business idea or side hustle idea but don’t know what to do next, or you already have a business going but need advice on how to take it to the next level, then book an appointment with a member of the team.

Our Startup Surgeries are designed to offer you expert advice and support on how to get your ideas off the ground or keep them going. No idea is too small to change the world as we know it for the better!

How to book an one to one appointment (also known as Startup Surgery):

We have four types of appointment that can be booked through City’s Careers Hub.

Once you are logged in, search for appointments and then select from either:

Introduction and Quick Queries – 15-minutes chat for quick queries and find out more about CityVentures;
Business Idea Review – you who have a business idea and would like someone who can look at your idea in context and ask you all the tough questions you hadn’t thought of;
Business Development – you have started working on a startup and need business guidance;
Start-up Visa – you are an international student waiting to know more about the Start-up visa endorsement or you are currently endorsed on a Start-up visa needing to book a catch-up.
